The guitarist with Townes - who joins the set at the beginning of CD 2 and is on the first 6 tracks of that CD - is MICHAEL JAMES.

Mickey White, Townes long time guitarist, first met Townes in 1970. He accompanied Townes on and off , mainly from 1981 up to the October 1988 New Zealand tour. Mickey played with Townes only once since then - at the Amsterdam show on 2 Nov 1991 when he happened to be in town performing with the Pat Mears (Mickey's ex-wife) band.
